Bow hunting is one of the most popular sports for the sportsmen. As an bonus, hunting with a bow and arrow is also very retro and it gets back to what hunting used to be like before the invention of the gun. If you’d like to do this kind of hunting, there are some general supplies you should get. Luckily, bow hunting

What is the difference between Hot Wheels “Treasure Hunts” and “T-Hunts”?

September 22nd, 2011 Comments off

Question by chris h: What is the difference between Hot Wheels “Treasure Hunts” and “T-Hunts”?
I have noticed that some treasure Hunt cars say “Treasure Hunts” in smaller letters at the bottom of the green strip, but others say “T-Hunts” in bigger letters around the middle of the strip. Can someone please tell me the difference? Oh, and it seems that this does not distinguish the difference between Treasure Hunts and Super Treasure Hunts as far as I can tell.

Best answer:

Answer by escaped_mental_case
Not much. About 7 letters. I think it was a lame attempt on Mattel’s part to make the name of the series sound cooler. Super Treasure Hunts usually have a $ for the S in Trea$ ure.

Either way, they are not all that limited when compared to the original Treasure Hunts back in 1995.

Pheasant Hunting With Dogs – Making Best Use Of Hunting Dogs!

September 17th, 2011 Comments off

Owning a hunting dog isn’t something to be taken lightly. These dogs require a lot of responsibility if they are to be kept in top shape. When choosing a hunting dog, be sure that all of it’s vaccines are up to date, and that the dog has either experience itself with hunting, or it’s parents are proven hunters. The last thing, and maybe the most important when choosing a hunting dog, is to look for a good companion. A hunting dog should be loyal and friendly, and

Do you think a real “Elite Hunting” organization, as seen in Hostel, exists?

August 28th, 2011 1 comment

Question by Swainy: Do you think a real “Elite Hunting” organization, as seen in Hostel, exists?
Just watched Hostel again and the thought came to mind. Do you think there are actual underground organizations that conduct murder-for-profit business?

If so, one would wonder how they would get contacts for that sort of thing.

Discuss.

Best answer:

Answer by ? Lovin’ life ?
Personally, I believe they exist. I saw some interesting happenings while traveling and living in Europe (not that ran across anything like Hostel).

I was going to paste some information, but I found a GREAT website that has links to crime organizations and associations. http://www.karisable.com/crorg.htm

“Several hints in Hostel support Elite Hunting’s ties to Russian organized crime, specifically their business card, which contains the email address blatanikov@gang.rus, linking it to a Russian web domain (although in reality this domain zone does not exist, and Russian sites use .ru domains instead). Hostel: Part II however shows several organization members speaking Slovak, hinting at the organization’s alleged local origins but also highlighting the members’ inherent multilingualism from operating in Slovakia. Furthermore, the Russian Mafia is known to have several offshoots in Eastern Europe.”

NIght Vision changes predator hunting

August 20th, 2011 Comments off

Night vision has the capability of changing the way we predator hunt entirely, and over the years I have learned to utilize night vision on my hunts in an exceptional way. Trial and error has lead to my developed hunting technique, which has given me excellent results. With the use of night vision we are able to hunt the predator more like the predator hunts it’s prey, in the dark, allowing for the majority of our kills to be made with shots taken an average of  35

REPUBLICANS, how many of you like to go “hunting” ?

August 15th, 2011 4 comments

Question by Zodiac Man “The Great”: REPUBLICANS, how many of you like to go “hunting” ?
What does this has to do with politics. Well, there are so many people worried about the Dems outlawing certain guns here in the
United States. That is not really the case. I asked a question about
hunting in the “hunting” category. It was virtually dead. Only got 1
response, and that took 10 minutes. ANYWAY !! Republicans. I am
a Dem. And I live down South. But I like to hunt for animals. ( We have that much in common) My
12 guage shotgun is too loud, and it is illegal for me to use it in the
woods in my area. I heard about those air rifles. I want one that can go up to 1000 fps, with 500 pounds of pressure. Do you think “air rifles” are a great alternative
compared to a typical gun ? AND can it be used for hunting animals, such as
deer, rabbits, pigs, and squirrels ? Answer here…………..

Best answer:

Answer by Mr.
Well…i’m not a Republican, but I like to hunt too.

The thing is… a .22 can be just as dangerous as an AK47…. in the hands of someone who has good aim. Possibly more dangerous in some cases… since a .22 won’t “go through” you, it will ricochet around in your organs…or easily ricochet off other objects.

The “assault weapons” issue…. is a little distorted.
The only difference in “level of danger” for an assault weapon, and say… a 30/30… one “looks” meaner than the other.

GAMO air rifles CAN KILL DEER in a single shot… i’ve seen it first hand.
